Imaginary Show @ Comet Tavern
Greetings, Party Volcano!
We're hosting a couple shows in December and we'd love to see your foxy faces there. Both shows feature Denton, TX's band Fishboy - a band that pulls inspiration from their famous Texas indie-rock forefathers (think Daniel Johnston, Britt Daniel and Buddy Holly) and put on a show that is riotously fun and involves sweatbands, trumpets, and possibly destroying a DVD player.
In addition to Fishboy, the Friday and Saturday night bills have been filled with like-minded energetic and captivating bands.

S.L.U.T. Opening Celebration
The S.L.U.T. has an opening, and we are celebrating!
That's right, December 12th is the opening day for the South Lake Union Trolley, and we here at Kapow! Coffee (1165 Harrison, Seattle) are throwing a party!
Noon, Wednesday, Dec. 12th, at Westlake Center, we will be putting on our "Ride the S.L.U.T." shirts, riding the trolley throughout those days in mass(with your help), for free(thank you Greg), and forever ensuring that our beautiful South Lake Union Trolley maintains her rightful and original title here in the old Cascade.
Who wants to ride a "streetcar" when you could ride the S.L.U.T.?
Especially when everyone rides for free through December!
Don't have your "Ride the S.L.U.T." shirt yet? Stop by Kapow! Coffee 6am to 4pm M-Fri or Sat 6am to noon, or order online at www.ridetheslut.com.
Join Big Jerry, Dandy Don, and other S.L.U.T. fans on December 12th, 2007 at Westlake Center, High Noon for the first of several free rides. Wear your shirt and show your pride!
(Bring snacks to enable yourself to ride the extensive 1.3 miles served.
We know: A grueling challenge, but so worth it!)

SSF Cocktails for A Cause
Attention Seattle area SSF Members...It's time for another edition of our very popular Cocktails for a Cause events.
Wednesday, December 12th starting at 6:00pm
Our next Cocktails event will be the biggest ever...a fun, fabulous holiday progressive block party. That's right, four venues, children's causes, featured 'cause-mos', and guest DJs. Mark your calendars, save the date, dust off your favorite holiday duds, and plan on joining the party. There are even a few fabulous prize drawings for those who visit each venue and complete their 'saving the world in style' passport.
As always, we'll have music, cocktails, munchies and fun while learning about great nonprofits doing important work in our community. See you there and pass the word.
