The time has come: This is the last Party Volcano email.
After over six years of writing this letter every week I have decided to close shop.
The first letter came out on 2/5/2006 and it has been fun writing about all the events and non-events for all those years. You can read a little summary in the 5 year birthday issue from 3/8/2007 if you want to refresh your memory.
Why is Party Volcano closing its doors? The short answer is that my job has become increasingly demanding. I wish I had a job like Matt from Seattle:
What started as a joke sent to a friend of his turned into an exciting job:
Traveling around the world and making silly dance movies for a chewing gum company.

Thank you so much for all your dedication over the years to getting the word out about often otherwise overlooked events. Guerrilla Masquerade Party definitely saw spikes in membership and participation following your messages, and we appreciated it every time. We're also closing up shop after 5+ years.
