Piratepalooza in Redmond

Oh boy, I don't know what to do about this one. The invite sounded like a private party to me. But then I saw that the GMP is also recommending it:
Ahoy, Guerrillas!

Although we're on a mini-vacation right now, other Guerrillas are hard at work making sure there are costume parties to be had. GMP regulars Suz, Doug, and Trish are throwing another of their infamous parties at a home in Redmond, Washington - and they want to see you there! Here's the official info:
Come all ye swarthy pirates, sexy mermaids and mishievious creatures of the sea! Suz (Suzapalooza) , Doug (Cool D) and Trish (La Nell) are pooling their talents and resources to plan another swashbuckling good time this Saturday, July 21, at 8:00 PM!

They want to see everyone dressed up as Pirates, Mermaids, Sea Monsters and Creatures of the Sea. Prizes will be awarded to the best costumes!
Island appetizers will be provided and Suz will make a batch of her famous rum punch. Please bring your own poison and snacks to share. We especially want to meet fun, friendly, outgoing people! Donations of rum, gold, and special talents are gladly accepted.
In the spirit of Captain Jack Sparrow, we may even be graced with a few acts of entertainment.
If you and yer shipmates want permission to board, please email Suz at suzfabulous@yahoo.com . Please make sure everyone in your crew is 21+.
And for those of you with more Southwardly inclinations, this Saturday is also GMP in Portland, Oregon, with a theme of 'Christmas in July'! For more info, go to http://myspace.com/gmppdx
Enjoy!

Kipa ‘Ana @ New Little Red Studio
What is it? Kipa 'Ana is a special night for C.O.L.O.R., a 501c3
founded by burners to help the lives of children in Sri Lanka (see
(http://coloraid.org/). Color's mission is to create opportunity for
impoverished children and youth through aid, education, and raising
social awareness. This is not some massive herculean non-profit -- it
is a *direct action* non-profit. 100% of the net proceeds goes towards
scholarships for schoolchildren. By supporting one child, you give someone else a
chance to raise their family out of poverty. You can see a slideshow
of the work done by C.O.L.O.R.

Not to mention this should be a blast!:
--Headlining the event is Beehive! They just released a new album, and
will be solidly rocking it that night
--Ludington GT, playing a live PA performance of EDM
--DJ Geminitrix, the superstar dj
--JUST ADDED--Casey Ann starting off the night with lucious downtempo
- and performances by Dane Ballard and a photo booth by John Cornicello.
Every artist is doing this free, and we can’t express enough our love.
Help us out and buy your pre-sales early! We'd love you for it!
This event needs people like you to help run it. We have only two
slots left if you would like to help:
