WHAT:
A Pig Bonfire
The pink papier-mache, stalwart champion of Washington State History,
will be commended for acts of merit by public burning.

WHEN:
6:00 PM -- the burning.
This Saturday, February 16th, 2002.
(The pig will tour the grounds from 5:00 PM until the time of the
event.)

WHERE:
A firepit.
Golden Gardens Park. Seattle, WA.

WHY:
One cannot bend the will of Washington State History.

HUH?
Consider this an open invitation and request for your personal
attendance -- as Special Guest.

So,

We're going to burn the Pig this weekend at Golden Gardens, in one of
the firepits there. If you're interested in seeing the burning, or
seeing the pink papier-mache Pig one last time -- or first time -- now
would be the time. Bring your own special guests as needed.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

5:00 -- The Pig arrives at Golden Gardens Park on a Golden Cart inside
the belly of a bus.

5:00-6:00 -- The Pig has its run of the place. Firepit is prepared (out
of site from the Pig).

6:00 -- The Pig bonfire, followed by general bonfire type activities
(standing around).

DIRECTIONS TO GOLDEN GARDENS PARK

From I-5 North or South, take the 85th
Street Exit. Go West on 85th through
Ballard all the way until it ends at a
T intersection. Go right and weave
your way to the bottom of the hill and
under the train track bridge. The
gates to park will be on your right.

PIG BONFIRE RECIPE

Combine & mix:
1 Giant Papier-Mache Pig
1 Firepit
5 lb. Newspapers
10 lb. bacon
5 lb. mesquite
Matches.
